On July 25, 2025, Xi'an Second Water Supply Engineering Co., Ltd. held a stage review meeting for the 14th section of the Gaoling Lintong water transmission and distribution pipeline project of Wanzi Water Plant. About 20 members of the company's leadership team, department heads, project leaders, and representatives of participating employees attended the meeting.

    At the beginning of the meeting, the project manager of Wanzi Water Plant presented a detailed report and in-depth analysis of the current stage achievements, progress, existing problems, and next steps, fully recognizing the importance and shortcomings of preliminary investigation, project management, data progress, acceptance and handover. After summarizing, it is stated that we will take the existing achievements as the basis, face the problems squarely, adhere to the principle of project first and management as the key, be good at reflection, and effectively consolidate our project management capabilities. Subsequently, the heads of each department exchanged speeches and focused on in-depth discussions on the difficult issues in engineering construction. They focused on the systematic and preventive mechanisms of project safety management, the uncontrollable foresight and adaptability of procurement plans, the feasibility and optimization space of construction plans, the timeliness and completeness of data management, the refinement and dynamism of cost control, and extended to the accuracy and compliance of the engineering final settlement process. They reviewed each item and dug deep into the root causes. Formulate multiple feasible improvement measures to lay the foundation for efficient promotion of subsequent projects. At the end of the meeting, the company leaders conducted a deep analysis from eight dimensions: emergency response to safety production, personnel organization and coordination, emergency response process, material allocation efficiency, on-site disposal standards, the spirit and style of participating personnel, departmental collaboration and linkage, and the applicability of emergency plans. They further sorted out the comparison and completion of the project with the expected goals. We fully recognize the achievements made by all personnel in anchoring goals and working together to overcome challenges. At the construction site of Wanzi Water Plant, our perseverance and cooperation in the scorching sun for more than ten days have soaked every drop of sweat with the "Wanzi Spirit"; The pursuit of excellence on the construction site ensures that every process can withstand the test of time. At the same time, specific requirements are put forward for the next step of work based on reality: firstly, strict control of safety processes and regular inspection of hidden dangers are necessary to ensure that all employees have solid safety awareness and response capabilities. Secondly, it is necessary to standardize the entire chain of material management, strictly inspect and register the materials on site, and ensure accurate matching between supply and demand; The third is to deepen dynamic cost control and establish a more detailed accounting system. Fourthly, all construction personnel should establish the awareness of "finished products are results", start from the process connection, clarify the responsibility for protecting finished products, and implement quality details in practice. The fifth is to immediately sort and summarize the data, identify and fill in any gaps, ensure the completeness of the content, accelerate the handover work, and lay a solid foundation for the smooth completion of the project.
